
Sabudana Chalki | Falahari Sabudana Potato Chakli | Fast Recipe | Indian Food
Ingredients
- Boiled & Mashed Potatoes - 2 Cups
- Sabudaba / Sago - 1 Cup - Soaked for about 5-6 hours
- Salt / Sendha Namak - Salt For Fasting - As Per Taste
- Lemon Juice - 2 tbsp - Can Adjust as per taste
- Green Chilli Paste - 1 tbsp - Can Adjust As per the taste
- Oil - For Deep Frying
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl add boiled and mashed potatoes, sabudana, lemon juice, salt, green chili paste and mix well
- Stuff this mixture inside chakli maker
- Lay a plastic sheet on platform or any flat surface and with the help of chakli maker lay chakli on plastic sheets (Please watch the video for proper demonstration)
- Sun dry for 2 days
- After it is properly sun dried, it will turn hard, then you can store it in a clean dried air tight container, it stays good even for a year if stored hygienically
- Whenever we wish to make chaklis, take a handful of them or any required quantity and deep fry on meduim flame till crisp light brown
- Enjoy with a hot cup of tea or coffee during fasting or any time as snacks or munchies
