
Rajgira Sheera Recipe | Rajgira Halwa For Fasting
Ingredients
- Rajgira Flour - 1 Cup
- Sugar - 1/2 Cup - Can adjust as per sweet taste
- Ghee - 3 tbsp
- Water - 1 Cup
- To Garnish
- Chopped Cashew
- Chopped / Grated Almonds
Instructions
- In a Cooking pan (preferably heavy bottomed), heat ghee
- As ghee starts heating add Rajgira Flour and roast it for 5-7 minutes on a low flame, keep continuously stiring so that the flour wont stick to bottom
- Once flour is nicely roasted add water and sugar and keep stiring continuously till ghee separates from sides of pan
- Switch off the gas and take sheera in serving bowl, garnish with choicest nuts (cashew, almond etc)
