Ingredients
- Pressure cooked Tuver Dal - 1 Bowl
- Tomato - 1 Nos
- Peanuts
- Chopped Coriander
- Hing
- Coriander powder
- Turmeric
- Mustard Seeds / Rai
- Tamarind Pulp
- Red Chilli Powder
- Dried Red Chillies
- Methi Seeds
- Jaggery / Gud
- Lemon Juice
- Green Chillies + Ginger Paste
- Curry Leaves
Instructions
- In a cooking pan heat oil, as oil starts heating add mustard seeds / rai
- As mustard seeds begins to crackle add hing, methi seeds, curry leaves and dried red chillies and saute well
- Now add Pressure Cooked Tuver Dal to the tadka and mix well, if required add water to adjust consistency
- Add Peanuts, Turmeric, Red Chili powder, Coriander Powder, Green Chilies and Ginger Paste, Tamarind Water, Salt, Jaggery, 1tsp of hing and mix well
- Bring dal to boil, and after the dal boils cook for more 5 minutes for slow flame.
- Switch off the flame and add lemon juice or you can add lemon juice while serving
- Serve hot with steamed rice, papad, pickle and salad
